By: otto | January 4th, 2009

Sport Director Max Eberl continues to shake Borussia in an effort to move from relegation as he released four players from contract today. Thirty-five year-old Goalkeeper Uwe Gospodarek was deemed expendable with the arrival of Belgian goalkeeper Logan Bailly from Belgium’s Genk as were midfielder’s Marcel Ndjeng, Sebastian Svärd and veteran defender Alexander Voigt. The Sports Director explained that prior to the winter break each of the players were notified of the pending move and recommended to look for potential openings with other clubs. While the ‘Gladbach has already added Dante, Tomáš Galásek, Paul Stalteri and Logan Bailly, they are expecting to add a few more key signings.
