Courage Borussia
By: otto | February 16th, 2009Following Saturday’s courageous stand against Bremen, VfL coach Hans Meyer has talked of being generally pleased with overall play. Above and beyond all else it was clear that while Bremen maintained constant pressure, Borussia ‘keeper Logan Bailly was able to restrain their many efforts.
The start of the Rückrunde for Borussia has been a turning of the page, a direction with courage underscored in bold. The cause to avoid relegation is one that is to be fought but the focus must be with each match and not concerned of others. In the first three matches, the club has challenged the top of the league and walked away with points with technical skill, tactical knowledge but most of all, courage.
Courage is the key, pride and never surrendering. On Saturday, Hannover comes to Borussia-Park and Fohlen will be ready to grab its first victory of the new season. Injuries from the Werder Bremen match are considered minor and all including Steve Gohouri, who was limping after the match is expected back. With the challenging target of twenty-two points in the remaining matches, a victory is an important link to goal attainment.

If and i repeat ” if ” we would pull-off the impossible at fc hollywood on saturday…gladbachs ship might survive this crazy typhoon we are stuck in at the moment…and perhaps save this season…i hope Herr Meyer can somehow work his magic…but then its the players that play the game..and so far they have been very unimpressive
